Star Citizen is an MMO Space Sim that covers combat, economy and pretty much anything else you would want. It’s First Person and built in the StarEngine (a modified CryEngine) You’ll see massive Space Ships that you can fly with friends, land on planets, explore or pirate your way to whatever goal you choose. Squadron 42 is the Single Player Campaign and the Spiritual Successor of Wing Commander. The Idea is the game is maximum pretty and seamless… NO LOADING SCREENS. It’s currently in the Alpha of it’s open develpoment with the hope that SQ42 will be released Q1 2017.

  1. I am totally waiting for 2.6. One thing that I have been thinking about that they can actually add to the game if possible is to put something that I like to call Boost Thrusters. What I mean by "Boost Thrusters" is to have special placed thrusters placed where you would need to activate to do an insane move on your ship, for example; dog fighting. It will give the pilot the ability to move up, down, left, right, diagonally, flip or spin. The ship would be able to move towards any direction way faster than normal. I think that would make the flying in space more dynamic because right now I feel like the flying in space needs a lot of work.

  2. I am really interested in this game i am going to buy it but because of money being tight i can only afford a basic package without Sq42 (my kids take all my money lol). I was reading SC forums and somebody mentioned he was playing the demo! Is there a demo? i want to fly this game so bad but i am stuck as what ship to buy. I want the Aurora basic ship package but have read you can't really do anything in game atm. I want to be a trader and explorer. Not really into dog-fighting but may try it at a later stage. Could you shed some light on a ship to suit my needs and hopefully answer the demo question 😀

  3. i REALLY want to see it 2.6 fixes things with combat personally i hate jousting but i feel increasing acceleration makes it more likely to encourage people to stop and turn around more often leading to more jousting. Making it so that building up speed is hard indirectly penalizes you for slowing down which is were most jousting begins. Example guy is behind you, you slow turn around and shoot at him, and he continues on course trying to get the kill, you pass each other, both turn around rinse repeat, the jousting has begun. The biggest problem is the game doesn't give much advantage to you being on someone's 6 o'clock, the also do make it advantageous to try and run while out maneuvering someone behind you the best option is to turn around and there is no penalty for doing so
