Hmm, cool products and nice photos. But why not just tether to the internal drive? I know that the available memory on Apple's products is usually a bad joke but these 'old' MBPs can easily be upgraded with 3rd party drives (mine has 2 TB of internal storage space on a very fast Samsung SSD and and additionally 512 GB on a small card hidden in the SD slot).

If I can shoot tethered to an ipad Pro, with one of these connected to store the files, I will have to seriously think about getting one.

Hey seth, were you shooting to your laptop and copying files as backup to the drive, or shooting straight to the drive?
Did you feel any difference in speed between the pro model and the normal one?

Very cool to keep getting more storage in smaller, faster packages. Thanks for doing a shoot, (which I'd love to see more of!) as opposed to just giving us some stats. Excellent work and lovely results with the green gels, Seth!

So my question is… can you download a file/images/video from a GH5 in-cameras SD card (or other cameras) without the USE of a laptop or other devices??

Robbie Keene 24/09/2021 - 3:54 AM

Yes, please let's see the shoot if you recorded it.

You used a filter on the lens and your lights cut through the green? Did I get that correct?

So it's basically Daniel Norton on five cups of coffee proof? I'm teasing! Seems like a tough external drive and fast.

Hey Seth! I'm happy to see you put the Dome on top of the Soft Bounce 😀
